Our client’s Information Technology department is seeking an Enterprise Applications Administrator to maintain a variety of on-premise and cloud based applications.  Reporting to the Vice President, Application Development, this position is critical to keeping the applications our organization relies upon running efficiently and without interruption.

Essential Job Functions:

·         Coordinate change control and release management activities through a collaboration with business users, project teams, and technical teams to ensure application stability and adoption of new features, including regression testing

·         Monitor system interfaces for completeness and act as primary point of contact for resolution of interface errors with technical teams and business users

·         Lead contact for troubleshooting with software vendors by coordinating ticket tracking in vendor support portals to minimize time to resolution

·         Act as primary system administrator for a variety of critical business systems by maintaining user roles and permissions and integration to enterprise single-sign on solution

·         Maintain inventory of key license measures and critical renewal dates to minimize overcharge charges and to avoid service interruptions

·         Develop and maintain operational procedures and associated documentation

·         Develop reports, work flows/rules, and dashboards within the applications to support business needs and requirements as they arise

·         Participate in special projects as these opportunities present themselves

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years previous experience with administering on-premise and cloud based applications

·         Experience supporting Oracle Sales Cloud and Oracle Financials EBS preferred

·         Experience supporting applications such as Serengeti Legal Billing, Tririga Real Estate, TM1, OpenPages a plus

  • Experience with creating reporting and dashboards using application facing tools preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and able to communicate effectively with end-users, internal technical team members, and external vendor resources
  • Excellent research and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
  • Ideal candidate: former release manager/delivery lead/single point of contact, functional, organized, extraverted, proactive and quick study

Location: Greater New Haven, CT

Compensation: Annual salary - $85,000 plus benefit package
