Providing leadership and expertise within a cross-functional team. Understand requirements, develop comprehensive plans, develop recommendations, and interact with key business units and executive management. Develop sophisticated applications on the force.com platform. Create, configure, manage and deploy changes (objects, layouts, Visualforce, Apex, etc.), migrate complex changes from dev to test to production. Document, maintain and enforce best practices and standards for the Salesforce platform.  Exhibit a clear understanding of best practices for Salesforce development. Hands on, working knowledge of all Salesforce.com configuration elements. Interact with other technical staff to develop complex systems and resolve issues. Build and document best practices for managing the Salesforce.com environment.

  • Execute declarative Salesforce application configuration
  • Use Apex and Visualforce to create unique customer-based solutions
  • Ability to lead client projects and internal team
  • Expert in solution design and system architecture
  • Interact directly with our consultants, architects and sales to ensure success
  • Participate in the full application life cycle from technical design to development, testing, and deployment
  • Build Salesforce.com product extensions using Visualforce technology
  • Develop new native products on the force.com platform

Requirements:

  • Five+ years of software development experience
  • Two+ years of experience with Salesforce.com
  • Strong technical design skills and an ability to deliver customer driven solutions 
  • Motivated to learn new Software-as-a-Service technologies
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal is required
  • Development experience with Apex and Visualforce is desired
  • College degree preferred
  • Possess a passion for solving challenges with software
  • Willing to learn new business processes and technologies
  • Be a creative and analytical thinker
  • Be highly driven and able to self-manage in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • Able to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
